Personal Therianthropy: I cant really say much, but I think it all started the first time I went
camping in the desert. I was out on like my second survival trek with my 2 best friends at the
time. We had just taken down a deer and were starting to carve it up for storing. I felt a
little different then. Mostly because the arrow had struck a non-vital area and my friends and
I ran the deer down an finished it with our knives. It was after we had the deer that we all
realised that we had just run down a mule deer. We actually ran it down! Later that night the
moon shone a little brighter, the meat tasted a little better and everything just felt more
"vibrant". Like we were finally seeing things as they were, not as they seem. Like a veil of
dillusion had been lifted and things seemed more real than ever before. Since then, almost every
time I head into the desert things get clearer. I mean to say that I hear, see, smell and
generally sense things better than I do in and around civilization. So I guess you could say
that I M-shift every time I am in "my" territory.
