Corvus' Werecard

From: "Corvus" (lothar@totalnet.com)

Human Name: Sorry, this would make it too easy for all those supernatural hunters out there.
Were Name: Corvus
Phenotype: WereWolf and WereRaven
Birthdate: 09/26/68

Birthplace: San Diego, CA
Home Territory: Bay Area of Northern California
Dream Territory: Pretty happy here in the Bay Area

Physical Description, Human: 6’1" male of Hungarian and Choctaw descent. Short brown hair, brown eyes, 180 Lbs
Physical Description, Were: Raven - Large black raven… I fit in with all the other large black ravens ;-)… Wolf - Sleek dark brown, not quite black, wolf with yellow eyes.
Human Career: Video and Internet Producer/Fiction Author (been paid enough to say I'm published... not enough to quit my day job... yet)

Hobbies/Interests: Backpacking, skiing, roleplaying, reading, anthropology, occult belief systems, poetry, sequential art, music, good food.
Favorite Movies: The Fisher King, Sunset Boulevard, A Clockwork Orange, Angel Heart, Jacob’s Ladder, Never Cry Wolf, Ran, Santa Sangre, The Music Man.
Favorite Were Movies: An American Werewolf in London, The Howling, Wolf, Cat People.
Favorite Literature: The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoevsky, The Magus by John Fowles, Lord of the Flies by William Golding, The Mahabharata, and various fantasy, horror and sci fi stuff.
Favorite Were Literature: Animals by Skipp and Spector, The Ultimate Werewolf, The Complete Werewolf, Drums around the Fire, MoonDance by Somtow, Steppenwolf by Hesse.
Favorite Art: Salvador Dali or H.R. Giger
Favorite Were Art: I like some of Ron Spencer’s stuff but I haven’t REALLY found anything that I think is good enough to be a favorite. If anyone has any suggestions…
Favorite Quote: "Who am I? Where are my pants?" This falls under personal and were ;-)
Favorite Band(s): Blue Oyster Cult, Queensryche, Peter Gabriel, The Who, Nine Inch Nails, White Zombie, Tool, Metallica, Helmet, International music of all kinds but especially: African (Nigerian polyrhythms rock!), Balinese Gamelan, Native American, South American, Romany, Middle Eastern. And almost all blues.
Favorite Were Song/Band(s): "Of Wolf and Man" by Metallica (I know, pretty standard… I could use suggestions on these as well)
Favorite Season: Autumn
Favorite Holiday: I like them all differently for different reasons but if I had to pick I’d say Halloween.

Preferred Prey: Until the Holy Grail of a P-shift enters my life I guess I’ ll have to stick with steak, ribs, asian foods of all kinds (especially Chinese, Thai and Indian) well prepared veggies and good desserts.
Hunting Tips: That would be telling ;-)
Preferred Method of Attack: Quick and clean after building terror to a fever pitch in your target.
Favorite Non-Were Mythological Beastie(s): Phoenix, Garuda, Ki-Rin, Tengu (some would argue that these are were), Jackalopes, Hoop snakes, Gullet Snakes.
Feelings Toward Vampires: Poor deluded shadows of their lost souls. If they would only realize that they are unclean beasts who only have a fading memory of their former selves we might be able to convince them all to do the right thing. (I haven’t had too many good experiences with Vamps… YMMV)
Feelings Toward Normal Humans: Good ones should be cherished, evil ones should be culled from the herd.

Personal Lycanthropy:

At a very early age I started having dreams of shifting into wolf form. This continued until I was around 13 or 14. Some personal tragedies prompted me to subconsciously suppress and reject my wolf and the dreams stopped.

By the time I was 20 I had realized that I had lost something and began to search for the missing parts of myself. It was then that I was visited by Raven for the first time. My first non-dream m-shifting was accomplished through some shamanic experiences with the help of Raven. I continued to try and learn and heal until about half a year ago when I was reunited with Wolf. First in dreams and finally a short while ago in a m-shift. My path continues onward with both Raven and Wolf within me. They are forever reminding me that I am never alone.
