Human Name: Gina Trella
Were Name: Dobutsu
Phenotype: Wolf
Shifting Ability: Dream/Therianthrope/Totem

Birthday: 09/04/86
Birthplace: Long Beach, CA.
Home Territory: the Wasatch Mountains, which are joined with my street next
to my home. There are mostly acorn trees and a few oaks. Mainly rough
stretches of mountain and yellow grass or juniper bush.
Dream Territory: The Northern Rocky Moutons. Mainly snow-capped moutons and
fir trees, a blue spruce ecosystem. Prey is rarely scarce here. My pack stays
well-fed.

Physical Description, Human: 5'4" 107 lbs. Chin-length blonde hair
(grey/brown on back of neck) and hazel/amber eyes. Slender build and fairly
powerful muscles.
Physical Description, Wolf: 3'1" 97 lbs. Thick grayish guard hairs that
become sandy-blonde near roots. Slender body form. (I can only P-shift in my
subconscious and in dreams but this is what I look like.)

Human Career: Eighth grade junior high student. Artist, drawer, writer, and dreamer.
Hobbies: Live role-playing. Meditating to conjoin with my wolf spirit.
Reading horror novels, and mostly just handgun' wit my buds.
Favorite Movies: Jurassic Park, The Green Mile, Bless the Child.
Favorite Were Movie: American Werewolf in Paris.
Favorite Literature: Anything by Stephen King (Cujo and Pet Cemetery
inparticular) or J. K. Rowling. J. R. R. Tolkien.
Favorite Were Literature: Bad Moonlight, In the Forests of the Night, Cycle
of the Werewolf, Julie of the Wolves.
Favorite Art: J. R. Gigger.
Favorite Were Art: It depends on the skills of the artist. Anything with
major detail in the fur, or any art depicting running or hunting wolves.
Favorite Quote: You can close your eyes to reality but not to memories. -Lec
Favorite Were Quote: His eyes are eager, his teeth are keen; as he slips at
night through the brush like a snake. Crouching and cringing, straight into
the wind; to leap with a grin on the fawn in the break. -Hamlin Garland
Personal Quote: Mankind? Who ever said they were kind?...
Favorite song/bands: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nine Inch Nails, Powerman 5000,
Stone Temple Pilots, Everclear.
Favorite Season: fall. I love how the leaves change color and fall from the
trees, and the sun sets at a quicker pace...
Favorite Holiday: Halloween. Gotta love the candy!

Prey: White-tailed deer or rabbits, sometimes field mice (for fun). Anything
with tough meat or spines is out of my league.
Hunting Tips: Seperate the weaker ones. Single them out...let them dangle in
the hazy state of confusion for a few moments, then go in for the kill.
Preferred Attack Method: Wait in cover, then when the prey is near...slash
with your claws and go for the throat.
Favorite Non-were Beast: Definitely the heraldic dragon, and Cerebrus.
Feelings towards Vampires: I've only seen a few of them at night. They stay
away from me most of the time...and I don't bother with them. Some can be
downright annoying, but some seem to understand.
Feelings towards Humans: Those who raised me were humans. But I've never
grown close to them, and the feelings are mutual. I don't care for the people.

Personal Therianthropy: I suppose I could put some speculation into this. I
just thought I'd like to tell you about my shapeshifting experience. I'm a
therianthrope, mostly. Though I can partially physically morph (running upon
four legs), it's more of a mental shift accompanied by strange dreams. I'm
fourteen years old, and am a girl.

This all started when I was about ten years old. I'd always loved wolves, and
I had no fear of them, no matter how large they were. I grew up with two wolf
hybrids raised by my uncle, who I'd visited often during the summer. I'd
spend hours upon end running and playing with Buck and Sheba, who were
brother and sister. I've been close to them ever since.

I soon began running around on four legs, and sometimes I didn't even realize
it! My parents were worried about this, and soon tried curbing my strange
habit. I still do run on four legs, and I'm quicker than anyone I know.

I noticed small things around me, and in nature, that I'd never noticed
before. Only small things, but still enough to alert me to what was really
going on in the world. A field mouse here, or a bird's nest there. I still
have extremely heightened senses.

My sense of sound and smell are wonderful, moreso than ever. My ears will
even sort of prick up at the slightest sound, like a door creaking or
something falling. I don't even need to quit what I'm currently doing to
notice these little things, like the creaking of my house or soft footsteps
of my pet cats, who happen to dislike me.

Whenever I pass by people, at the mall, for instance, I can actually smell
them, even if they happen to be five or six feet away. Their scent just has
to hit me. I've found that each person has their own unique scent, no matter
how clean they are. I've even learned to recognize these certain scents. My
family thinks I act like a wolf. More than they know.

If there's a moon (no matter if it's waxing or waning) I'll stare at it for a
few moments, and I'll feel different somehow, like the moon has awakened in
me some sort of ancient knowledge. I find it very very hard to fall into any
sort of slumber after this, and have very strong urges to explore outside at
night. I occasionally give into these urges and wander outside, and not even
the next door neighbor's dogs can hear me. My night vision is excellent as
well.

I have unusual dreams at night, and have been for the past few years. The
dreams are of me as a timber wolf, running through a forest (somewhere in the
Rocky Moutons, I think) and hunting with a few other wolves. It's
exhilarating. Then I wake up, feeling sore and worn out. I'm highly
nocturnal, and bright light hurts my eyes. I prefer the night, staying up
until three or four o' clock in the morning sometimes.

I also have mental shifts, when I get angry or feel such a strong emotion
that my mind shifts to that of the wolf's. I growl angrily at people I don't
like, and sometimes even snap at them. I find it hard to walk on two legs for
up to twenty minutes at a time. This is when my bestial wolf nature takes
over. I must act passive and shy at school towards anything that might have
the tendency to anger me, for I must control my wolf spirit.

We must live in harmony with nature, and let our animal sides take over once
in a while. Let our spirits guide us through this confusing world full of
human emotions and problems that may sometimes seem overwhelming. Get in
touch with who you truly are.

Gina
