Phenotype: Northern Gray Wolf, (Canis lupus occidentalis).
Shifting Ability: Mental, Dream, and I’m into totemism.

Birthdate: 10th December 87
Birthplace: Sheffield, Yorkshire, England

Home Territory: Woodland area around Eckington
Dream Territory: My dream territory is beautiful. Its
up in North America, Alaska I think, because there are
magnificent mountains, lush green forests with sun,
snow and the occasional dry spots, and also not only
can I howl at the moon which looks so clear in the
sky, but I can see the mystical Northern lights.

Physical Description, Human: I’m about 5’5” and 10st.
I have wild, dark brown hair with light brown starring
eyes and pale skin. Even though I’m not really tall I
have long hind legs, powerfully muscled with long,
slender forearms and I’m medium built…I also have long
claws!

Physical Description, Were: I’m in full wolf state and
stand about 76cm at the shoulder and I’d say around
120lbs.I have the same light brown eyes with black
outlining them. The rest of my fur is light grey with
white front and hind legs which the grey funs about
halfway down. My underbelly is white too. My muzzle is
half and half, grey on the top, white underneath. I
also have black fur on the tips of my ears and tail.
There are slightly black guard hairs on my back and
chest too. My expression is keen, intelligent and
joyful which matches my boundless energy!

Human Career: I’m a Film,Art and theatre student.
Hobbies/Interests: I love to go running and walking in
the woods and explore other forests. I go camping with
friends, watch and read fiction and non-fiction, I
draw and do watercolour paintings (mainly of wolves
and other large predators), I’m also a Pagan so I like
to practice magick and other things such as tarot, but
by far my favorite, being out late at night so I can
howl to my hearts content!
Favorite Movies: Princess Mononoke, Balto, Indiana
Jones and Johnny Depp films and Robert DeNiro films.
Favorite Were-movie: Wolf (Jack’s brill!) and An
American Werewolf in Paris.
Favorite Literature: I’m reading a book called ‘animal
speak’ about totemism which is really good. Also
‘Tales and poems of Edgar Allan Poe’ is a great read,
as is ‘moon magick’ which is a brilliant spell book.
Favorite Were Literature: ‘Bitten’ by Kelly Armstrong
is a great book.
Favorite Art: Watercolour paintings of wolves and
large predators. I also like Picasso’s work.
Favorite Were-art: I find I like certain were pictures
more then others, it depends how it portrays us.
Favorite Quote: The great lesson of nature: she may
seem harsh, but not without purpose, for she is
reasonable, just and perfect. – Charles Wright.
Favorite Were Saying/Quote: A playfully menacing
‘Grrowwll’!
Favorite Personal Quote: Always be yourself, in this
you are beautiful and true. Never let anybody change that.
Favorite Song/Band(s): ‘Bark at the moon’ by Ozzy, ‘Of
wolf and man’ by Metallica and I love ‘Miss-shapes’ by
Pulp…isn’t Jarvis great!
Favorite Season: I love playing in winters snow, but
the fresh new grass and smells of spring are great too.
Favorite Holidays: Summer…freedom!

Preferred Prey: Caribou and Moose although smaller
prey keep me going, (e.g. rabbits).
Hunting Tips: Keep you’re eye on the pack, and always
on the prey!
Preferred Method of Attack: A quiet, quick stalk,
followed by a fast run, launch and gripping tear of the throat.
Favorite Non-Were Mythological Beast: Nundu: A huge
leopard native to Africa whose breath causes disease
and destruction to villages. Also Hebridean black
dragon and Kodama: Japanese tree spirits! (If you’ve
seen Princess Mononoke)!
Feelings Toward Vampires: I have three vampire
friends. Their great, and fun to be with but often
they can be ignorant. They also have unpredictable
mood swings!
Feelings Toward Normal Humans: I have few human
friends as most are a waste of time. I hate most
humans, stupid, weak and ignorant with little
compassion. They can’t even see that by destroying
nature, their destroying their selves.

Personal Therianthropy: I’ve always been different,
always wild at heart and in nature. I’ve been wolf as
long as I can remember. I hardly saw my father, my
mother looked after me. I felt close to neither. I was
closer to Bracken the female Alsatian who mothered me,
and Sonny the Border collie, like a father, with
Charlie a young collie as my brother, they must have
sensed it… they raised me. I ate with them, played on
all fours with them and barked and howled with them.
Not all dogs would be as friendly though, often
growling or whimpering. And even when we didn’t have
dogs, my behavior would still be the same.
The first day of nursery… I was banned for biting,
keeping to a corner. I even bit my mother once, so
hard it brought tears, so I’m told! School was never
easier either, not even to this day. In primary I
preferred to be alone, curled up or playing with twigs
next to a nearby stretch of grass and trees. A few
friends I know were the ones who showed me compassion
and that some humans contain some good. They nicknamed
me the dog girl, others thought I was a witch! Little
did they, or I, know I was more than dog.

It was around this age, ten-ish, that the dreams
started and continue to this day. I was running, with
wolves, and I was one too! A beautiful pack of around
fifteen. I have the dreams a lot, and they often
differ in their location and activity.
I have always loved the wolf as well, a majestic
symbol of freedom and pure beauty.
Freedom… How I longed for this.
Secondary school and still I felt alone, like I was
the only one, my baggy black attire also singled me
out, along with my way of dealing with confrontations,
growling and barking, they never came to cause trouble
again after an experience like that! Howling to a full
moon or even empty sky also had the neighbors scared,
puzzled or me in trouble.

My first Mental Shift came when I was between ten and
twelve, that’s an experience I won’t forget. I was
alone, outside in my garden, gazing up to the sky. I
was filled with so many emotions, loneliness, hate of
society, I suddenly wanted to run, now, to escape
human life…It started…I lay on the grass, panting,
clawing the ground and grinding my teeth. There was a
subtle feeling of pain, and most of all, a feeling of
pure enjoyment, that shot through me, my muscles
tensed and I released a haunting howl to all around, I
was wolf. I then rose and remember little of what
happened next. Maybe caught a rabbit or other prey as
I so often do, but I awoke curled up next to a bush,
moonlight on my face and even though the experience
had tiered me, I felt my muscles full of boundless
energy.

I’m starting to remember more of being in my wolf
state with each change, each random change, often
linked to my emotions, moonlit activities or sudden
urge to go for a ‘run’. And each time its pure joy, as
I’m sure you all know. I found AHWw when I wanted to
try and understand what was happening to me and for
the first time I wasn’t alone. There were others like
me and I was so excited! I’m also into totemism and
how my spirit guides and natural omens help guide me
through life. My wolf nature and instincts have always
helped me through life, and always will. Presently, I
often go ‘running’ alone in the woods at night as
that’s when most of my shifts happen. I better my
knowledge and explore my senses, my nature and my
longing to meet others in a solitary howl.
Therianthropy is who we are, whether wolf, tiger or
raven, we are unique and yet the same. We are closer
to nature and our true selves, away from human
ignorance and this betters us.
I long for a physical change and to one day run and
howl with brothers and sisters in our natural full
form.
