Personal Therianthropy: Years ago when I was younger, I was fascinated by
werewolves and vampires. I liked vampires better. I was raised on horror
movies and I still love them. At some point, I began to dream of wolves and
werewolves. Sometimes I was a wolf, other times wolves were chasing me.
Sometimes, I was fighting other werewolves in either form, etc. I still have
these dream, though now I have some control, shifting when I want and things
like that.

I have always been a temperamental person, not in the "having an outburst
every day" thing, but rage would build up over months and then I would
explode. I think this reflects the wolf in me, my totem. I like the Viking
take on it all. A werewolf in Viking Europe was a Berserker. I am a
Berserker. I am a rather calm one, however, which I like because instead of
always freaking out, it lends more of a mystical feel to it. The Bear is
also a totem of mine, though not nearly as strongly.

I feel a deep rapport and kindred with the wolf, indeed its howl is
beautiful music. I don't think people can actually shapeshift physically,
well not now anyway, but in a rare circumstance where magic is invloved,
maybe. I do believe in spiritual shifting. The Norse had a grand, beautiful
belief on the subject.

Animal spirits are guides that form an essentail part of human nature.
