Personal Therianthropy:

Ok, I will take these questions one at a time.
First, what does Therianthropy mean to me? Everything. Its a part of my life
that I have always had. It makes me more aware of whats going on around me.
I dont trust people and I tend to keep an eye on everyone. I am shy and
nervous around a crowd so I tend to avoid that, but I am at home in the woods.
I am my true self there.
My first realization is hard to answer. Its something that has always been
there as long as I can remember. When I was about 13 or 14, I was chasing
a rabbit in the woods where I grow up. ( I loved to run ) That was the
first time I actually caught that rabbit, but I did not know what to do with
it after that, but the rabbit did. I have a nice scar on my forearm to show
for that. Even then, I knew about the wolf. I was learning to hunt, and she
was showing me.
I am learing about shamanism and I love it. A great book is Animal-Speak
by Ted Andrews. I am learing alot from that book. How to look at nature
differently than I have before.
