Favourite Were Song/Band(s): Dancing in the moonlight/King Harvest, Bad Moon
Rising/Credence
Favourite Season: Spring (I love the smell of spring in the forests)

(lots of family and friends)
Preferred Prey: Spiritual/Dream: Rabbit, Turkey (perferrably young, the older ones are
stringy), deer, elk. Real Life: Rabbit, Poultry, Beef, the usual non-meat foods as well.
Hunting Tips: Stalk your prey until you are close enough for a quick pounce. This gives you a
chance to see what weakness they have or if any others are nearby who might interfere (works
well on humans too). Of course, if they sense or see you and run... what a glorious chase that
could be.
Preferred Method of Attack: Stalk then pounce.
Favourite Non-Were Mythological Beastie(s): Griffin, Helicorns (The first unicorn actually
rose from an abyss, interesting legend)
Feelings Toward Vampires: For those who feel that they truly are one and are not seeking
anything but to understand and control their beast, I would have to say that if they can respect
me then I would respect them. For those who are simply looking for an escape from their dull
little lives, get a life!
Feelings Toward Normal Humans: Similar to above. I have learned to adapt, as most wolves
will. Many humans do not realize what I am. Those who do not have an open mind are best
ignored. Those who are willing to listen and can accept anyone for who they are without trying
to change them is okay with me.
Personal Lycanthropy: I knew that something was different about me when I was little more
than four years old. I lived in the everglades in Florida. There were few other houses around and
no tv to speak of that could have influenced me then. I can remember having dreams where I
would be running through a forest with a pack of a dozen or so others. I still have the same
dream once in a while, though it has expanded as I have gotten older. The most interesting
piece is that I’ve seen is the different members pairing off over the years, though we still run
and hunt together. I found myself years later running through similar woods with great abandon,
wishing I would not have to go back home and only slowing down when those humans who
came with me called out for me to stop or slow down. I go by myself now since I know no
others who understand. I also saw a lot of things that many others did not. My perceptions and
senses have always been much more acute, hearing, smelling, etc... There's also a sixth
sense of sorts. I would always know who was on the phone before picking it up, or that
someone was coming over. I've had waking dreams, visions for lack of a better word. Some of
which have come to pass. That was scary for a while, but I got used to it.

Other features were there but became more predominant as I grew older. My hearing was
tested after I complained of pain from dog whistles and ballons being popped. Fireworks also
sound a bit too much, so I have to be careful when going to displays. I chased my brother
down with a baseball bat after he had to show his friend from two rooms away that I could hear
the dog whistle. The docotr said that my hearing was indeed both above and below human
normal. Along the same lines, I have always been able to take in and separate everything
going on around me, and respond to each item or conversation differently. My night vision has
always been very good, which is probably why I worked 3rd shift for so long. I’m more of a night
person than a morning person. Some of my friends have noticed slight physical changes when
my lupa does surface. They’ve seen the pupils widen even in broad daylight. The color changes
slightly darker or lighter depending on mood. The ears sometimes shift back a bit as muscles
in the cheeks also shift back a bit. They tell me I look a bit elfin when that happens and ask
why I’m upset, though I’m usually not. I’m just more alert.

In trying to understand myself better, I got involved in many spiritual quests including
developing my psychic abilities and searching for a better melding of my true nature. It’s not
easy when you don’t know anyone else like that. My lupa has always been really maternal.
She's on the gentle side and quick to defend anyone who is weaker. This sometimes gets me
in trouble, but I deal with it. She has also learned to use some of my other gifts to her
advantage. Go figure. On many occassions, I’ve gone hiking or just walking and she comes to
the surface over little things such as the smell of the woods, the scampering of a smaller
animal, or the urge to simply glide between the trees off the beaten trail as fast as she can go.
At this point in my life, my wolf and I have come to an almost perfect balance. Heck, it only
took 30+ years! We still walk the woods, sometimes at night, and play with the other beasties
in a game of ‘see how close you can get to them before they notice you’. We’ve both learned
to curb our desires so that we are more adapted to those around us, but we still have fun when
in our own territory.

At this point, we are searching for a pack as we have put that off too long. I know that I will
never truly fit in with humans, try as I might, and have finally decided to try these types of
communities. Being of a community oriented nature, my lupa is pushing me to finally break my
silence and take that first step. There’s so much more that I could say, but I’m running out of
room. If anyone has questons or comments, please feel free to contact me.
